Turkish (Jason Statham) is a promoter for illegal boxing matches. He manages to convince a gangster Brick Top (Alan Ford) to offer betting chances for Mickey (Brad Pitt) a bare-knuckle style boxer, but when Mickey doesn't throw a fight as agreed upon, problems start.
