At the center of the plot is the god of trickery and deceit, Loki, who manages to seize the Tesseract and escape during the chaos. Before he can fully enjoy his freedom, he is captured by unknown soldiers who escort him to a strange and completely unfamiliar place. It soon becomes clear that he has been brought to the Time Variance Authority, where he will stand trial for violating the Sacred Timeline. And after being sentenced to a “reset,” Loki unexpectedly finds salvation in the form of Agent Mobius, who offers him his help in exchange for cooperation.
