At the center of the plot is a schoolboy named Morty and his grandfather Rick. Morty is an ordinary boy who is no different from his peers. But his grandpa is engaged in unusual scientific research and is often completely inadequate. He can grab his grandson at any time of the day or night and go on interdimensional adventures together with him using a flying saucer made of various junk, which can move through a time tunnel. Every time, this pair ends up in the most unexpected places and the most absurd situations.

  • Rick has a run in with some old associates, resulting in a fallout with Morty. You got any chips, broh?
  • Beth and Jerry head for an iceberg of a date leaving Rick in charge. Morty doesn't get to go on any more adventures if the house isn't in the same condition when they get back.
