Le jeune couple, Alison et Mike, avait hâte de déménager dans leur nouvelle maison et ne prêtait aucune attention à l'histoire de ce manoir. La maison était restée inoccupée pendant longtemps et tous les acheteurs potentiels s'étaient rétractés au dernier moment. Mais seul ce couple romantique, qui croyait tout ce qui se passait comme un conte de fées stupide, n'avait pas peur. Au début, les nouveaux propriétaires de cette luxueuse propriété ne croyaient pas en l'existence de fantômes de différentes époques historiques. Cependant, les fantômes considéraient cette maison comme la leur et faisaient tout leur possible pour se débarrasser des invités indésirables - Mike et Alison. Ils les provoquaient, créaient des difficultés et des situations dangereuses pour les chasser de leur maison. À la suite d'une de ces situations, la fille est tombée de la fenêtre et est restée inconsciente pendant longtemps à l'hôpital. Lorsqu'elle reprit conscience, elle réalisa qu'elle pouvait maintenant voir… des fantômes, aussi clairement que des personnes vivantes. Mais ce n'était pas tous les problèmes : Mike se retrouva dans une situation financière difficile dont il devait s'échapper en urgence, sinon cela pourrait causer de grands problèmes à la jeune famille. Une nouvelle étape de la vie des jeunes mariés approchait, dans laquelle ils devraient résoudre des problèmes imprévus.
