Gary Johnson, a wiretapper, is forced to replace a police officer and pretend to be a hired killer in order to meet the client for the murder. However, everything doesn't go according to plan when he falls in love with a woman who seeks his help in getting rid of her abusive boyfriend. As a result, Johnson actually decides to help her. “I'm Not a Killer” (2023) is an action-comedy film directed by Richard Linklater, based on the true story of a Texas police officer described in Texas Monthly magazine. The main roles in the film were played by Glen Powell and Adria Arjona. The premiere of “I'm Not a Killer” took place at the 80th Venice Film Festival in 2023.
