Samantha and Jay throw caution to the wind when they convert their recently inherited country estate into a bed-and-breakfast. Call it mislaid plans. Not only is the place falling apart, but it’s also inhabited by spirits of previous residents – whom only Samantha can see and hear.

1. Pilot
AçıklamaSamantha and Jay, a married couple living in a cramped New York apartment, inherit an old mansion which is inhabited by the ghosts of several people who died on its grounds over a thousand-year period. After learning that Samantha and Jay plan to open a bed & breakfast, the ghosts go to great lengths to haunt them out of the house, fearing constant disturbance and risk of being walked through by the living (a deeply painful experience for ghosts). However, after a failed haunting attempt, they accidentally cause Samantha to fall down the stairs and almost die. She revives with the ability to see and hear them. -
2. Hello!
AçıklamaSamantha can now see ghosts, but tries to ignore them, believing them to be a symptom of her injuries and induced coma. However, after encountering more ghosts during a doctor's appointment, she eventually accepts their existence and convinces her husband that they are real. -
3. Viking Funeral
AçıklamaAfter beginning the renovations at the mansion, the construction crews uncovers Thorfinn's remains, which poses a threat to the renovations, so Samantha and Jay attempt to dispose of the remains. Despite learning the value of Viking skeletons and being tempted to sell Thorfinn's remains to fund the renovations, Samantha and Jay ultimately hold a Viking funeral. Thorfinn almost ascends into the afterlife but stays. -
4. Dinner Party
AçıklamaSam and Jay meet the Farnsbys, an older couple who attempts to sabotage their renovations which leads them to invite them over for dinner. At the dinner party, the ghosts attempt to sabotage Sam until she points out they need her to maintain a connection to the world of the living. In the end, with the help of the ghosts the Farnsbys give them a permit for their renovations. -
5. Halloween
AçıklamaThe ghosts are unable to get into the Halloween spirit, being unable to participate and believing it to be insulting to ghosts. Taking advantage of Sam's ability to see and hear them, the ghosts guard the mansion against trick-or-treating vandals, but are distracted by the prospect of watching Ghostbusters. Meanwhile, Thorfinn uses his powers to accidentally set the front yard gazebo on fire and feels guilty when Sam and Jay blame one of the young vandals. -
6. Pete's Wife
AçıklamaAs Sam introduces the ghosts to the Internet and social media, Trevor discovers that he has fathered a child from one of his one-night stands in the 1990s. After Sam locates Pete's wife Carol online, she invites her and her new husband to the mansion at Pete's insistence. Though Pete plots to kill his wife in order to reunite with her, he decides not to do so upon learning his grandson has been named after him in his honor. Meanwhile, Thorfinn and Sasappis become obsessed with a reality show, which the former binge-watches without the latter. -
