Will Trent is a special agent who was abandoned by his parents in childhood and grew up in foster care. This trauma allows him to notice things in certain crimes that other police officers do not. When he is sent on his next case, he realizes that not only has a murder occurred in the house, but a child has also been kidnapped. This series is based on the detective novels by Karin Slaughter.
